Newfield Exploration Company (NYSE:NFX) is an independent crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Our growth strategy includes:

Our domestic areas of operations include the Mid-Continent, the Rocky Mountains, onshore Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. Our international areas of operation include offshore Malaysia and China. At year-end 2008, we had total proved reserves of 2.95 Tcfe and nearly 90% of those reserves were located onshore U.S. Our reserve base is 72% natural gas and approximately 62% of our reserves are proved developed.
